I use cream of chicken soup and water chestnuts since I don't like mushrooms. I use either sliced or whole water chestnuts quartered as the give a nice wiht to the dish, texture is important to me. This recipe takes me right back to my childhood during the weeknights. My mom could pull this together in no time and we would gobble it gound up.
